Boom! After weeks of craigslist shenanigans, I am now Tercel-free!

This kid bought my blue one and he was impressed. He was expecting a rolling turd, but it was merely priced like a rolling turd. I threw in my spare engine and trans because those were just additional headaches at this point. I don’t care. It is finally gone!

I sold the bronze one, which I still love to death, to my brother in law. He wants to spend the next year restoring it and flip it. Fine with me, at least it’ll still be on the road.

All I wanted for someone else to enjoy it as much as I did. I’m glad I didn’t compromise and sell it to one of the several people who just wanted to part it out or make some kind of Franken-cel.

I am going to regret getting rid of the bronze one, so badly, but I got my money’s worth and learned a lot of DIY repairs. Hell, maybe I’ll buy it back after it gets restored.

Anyway, here is my updated “fleet” in front of my new home.

There’s something timeless about the Pickup/ Hilux grill you have. The round headlights and off center badge make it look loyal, like a dog. something my first generation Tacoma fails to do. Non aggressive styling is greatly underrated.
